The first vintage of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Miraval Rose was an enormous success – selling 6,000 bottles within 5 hours of release and becoming the only rose on the Wine Spectator’s respected annual Top 100 wines list of last year. In time for Valentine’s Day, the clan is releasing a limited supply this year’s vintage from tomorrow for sale for clients in France and England, before the wide release later in the month. It is expected to be a monumental success again, already getting great reviews. The Hollywood super couple launched the wine in partnership with renowned wine clan the Perrin family, and it is made from grapes grown in their 1,000-acre $60m estate in Corren, south of France. Decanter Magazine gave the new vintage 91 points out of 100, saying it is “highly recommended”. They added: “Lovely floral nose, soft fragrant roses, and from the first taste there is a delicate structure that deepens through the palate.”
