First look at new full length trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. Fans can catch a glimpse of the drama and destruction ahead for reluctant heroine Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, in the short clip. There is also a sneak peak of Julianne Moore’s star turn as Alma Coin, the president of District 13, as well as late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman’s final work playing Head Gamemaker, Plutarch Heavensbee. The film, helmed by Francis Lawrence, is the first part of the adaptation of the final book in Suzanne Collins’ dystopian trilogy. Katniss finds herself becoming a symbol of Panem’s revolution against the all-controlling Capitol in what looks to be the darkest installment of the franchise to date. Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci and Sam Claflin are all returning for the sequel. There’s also a brief sighting of Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer, who has joined the cast as key rebellion member Cressida. The second film grossed over $864 million worldwide last year and the latest chapter looks set to become the film event of the autumn. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 will be released on November 20 in the UK and November 21 in the US.
