Andy Samberg hosts season finale of SNL with the help of some famous friends including Justin Timberlakd and Pharrell. Former SNL castmember Samberg kicked off the show by telling viewers: “Justin Timberlake could not be here tonight. Heís currently touring in Russia. I just want to get that out of the way,” He said Timberlake, who frequently appeared on SNL alongside Samberg, had sent him a photo to wish him luck – which showed the Sexy Back star flipping him the bird holding a sign that read: “Youíre gonna blow it!” Fellow singer Pharrell also made a cameo appearance in a digital short as he sang about wanting to hug Samberg’s mother in the back of a car. Rapper 2 Chainz also made a guest appearance for a brief sketch while comedian and actor Paul Rudd appeared in several sketches throughout the night. But the sketch that got the biggest cheers from audiences reunited several former SNL cast with Samberg including Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph as well as Rudd as they played a family called the Vogelchecks who can’t stop kissing and fondling each other – much to the dismay of SAmberg’s boyfriend played by Taran Killam. Samberg also appeared in several other sketches, playing Lord of the Rings elf Legolas in one, Quazimodo, the Hunchback of Notre Dame in another and Nicolas Cage during Weekend Update alongside Rudd
